High Society Whodunit: Murder in the Hamptons
May 21, 20121h 0m
The shocking 2001 murder of investment banker and multimillionaire Ted Ammon was the stuff of TV crime dramas. Ammon was found bludgeoned to death in his East Hampton mansion that he once shared with his estranged wife, Generosa, and their twins. At the time, Generosa was having an affair with electrician Daniel Pelosi, whom she married three months after the murder. In 2004, Pelosi was found guilty of second-degree murder for the death of Ammon and is currently serving 25 years to life, but now claims he is ready to explain what really happened the night of the murder. In a daytime exclusive, Dr. Phil visits the convicted murderer behind bars. Hear why Pelosi says he's innocent and who he claims was behind the slaying. And, what happened to the home surveillance footage, which may have caught the deadly attack? Plus, don't miss a bombshell from Generosa's closest friend, and a man who says he heard a confession -- and not from Pelosi. Dr. Phil goes behind the headlines in this high-society whodunit!
