Season 1

Bernice & Fish meet the five children who will live at their home.

After taking a ride in Fish's car, Mike spends a night in jail.

Fish finds that Victor is involved in a numbers game.

With the furnace out of order, the house is freezing. Meanwhile, Diane says she wants to have Charlie's baby.

Fish thinks about getting a job as a security guard.

When Bernice can no longer deal with the children, she decides to seek professional help.

When a fire burns down a neighborhood house, everyone accuses Victor of starting it.

After seeing how Bernice and Fish run their house, a social worker threatens to replace them.

Loomis has become racist after watching Roots. To fix the problem, Charlie asks an African student to speak to Loomis.

While Fish and Bernice are celebrating their 36th Anniversary, Diane sneaks out to be with her boyfriend.

Everyone misses Victor while he is away with the people who could become his foster parents.

To Fish's dismay, a Puerto Rican thief invades his house.
